Digital Domain was tapped to destroy two of America’s most recognized cities for this sci-fi epic. New York was hit by tidal wave – intelligent, interactive CG water sweeping through photorealistic recreations of lower Manhattan. Los Angeles was devastated by a series of vicious twisters shot layering, CG elements and volumetric effects combined to wreak urban havoc. Digital Domain relied heavily on its award-winning STORM and FISM software to create the devastation.
