O Brother, Where Art Thou?

For the climactic sequence where a cabin floods, Digital Domain created a miniature set for the actual flood destruction and a CG environment to depict the waterlogged aftermath. To ensure that no animals were harmed during filmmaking, artists also created and animated a CG cow that gets hit by a car.
