Gatorade “Shattered”

Extensive pre-visualization helped determine the perfect textures and physical qualities for this delicate concept from director Brian Beletic, achieving the analogy of 'falling apart' without losing the photorealistic appearance. Athletes were filmed against a green-screen, and that information was used as the basis for a digital wireframe of their performance. At the perfect transition point, the effect of their bodies shattering on impact was achieved via 3D animation. The spot is from agency Element 79.
