Destiny “The Law of the Jungle”

Digital Domain worked with 72andSunny to create 'The Law of the Jungle', the trailer to launch Activision and Bungie's highly anticipated new videogame Destiny. Directed by Jon Favreau and starring Giancarlo Esposito, it is an artful blend of live-action and high-end CG that catapults viewers into a movie-like digital version of the Destiny game world. The piece was shot in Digital Domain's virtual production studio using a virtual camera. Artists created cinematic lighting, sophisticated cloth simulations and extravagant explosions, as well as re-rendering and re-designing some game elements captured from Bungie's game engine. Favreau said, 'Digital Domain approached this spot as filmmakers. The artistic vision they brought along with the technology made for a fun collaboration'.
