Digital Domain Unites with 3Glasses and Digital Domain Space to Further the Development of VR Technologies In A Ground-Breaking Partnership

 

April 10, 2019, Beijing VR Technology Holdings Ltd, Shenzhen (“3Glasses”), a leading global VR and Windows Mixed Reality company as well as the subsidiary of Digital Domain Holdings Limited(the “Group” or “Digital Domain”; stock code: 547), one of the largest and most innovative providers of visual effects and virtual reality (VR) experiences, held a new product launch and strategic press conference themed “See” in Beijing. At the press conference, 3Glasses debuted the world’s first ultra-thin consumer VR glasses called “X1” and announced the virtual human “Star,” created by Digital Domain as its spokesperson.

 

The “X1” is expected to go on sale in mid-2019. By then, the “X1” will be available at all “Digital Domain‧Oasis” theatres, operated by Digital Domain Space (“DDS”), the VR content distribution platform of Digital Domain.
