Ford Mondeo “True Beauty”

Digital Domain used glowing CG X-Rays alternating with slow-motion photographic images to highlight the structure inside a precise gymnast, a powerful hawk, a graceful stingray, a galloping zebra and the Ford Mondeo ECOnetic, to show that true beauty starts far beneath the skin. The zebra, eagle and gymnast were shot at 1,000 frames per second, and Digital Domain created and animated the underlying skeletal geometry digitally. Artists created the inner workings of the engine based on CAD data and technical animations and blended all elements together seamlessly to create the unique effect of the internal structure emanating as a light force from within, for the Carl Erik Rinsch-directed spot for Ogilvy London.
